A study examined whether obese children are more prone to attention deficit/hyperactivity (AD/HD) than children with other nutritional states. The results showed that there was a prevalence of AD/HD in hospitalized obese children, which were not replicated in non-clinical populations proving that the results could have been due to selection bias.
