Differential sensitivity of the MMPI-2 depression scales and subscales

Article Abstract:

A study of MMPI-2 depression scales and subscales to investigate their relative sensitivity shows that the depression scales have differential sensitivity. The results of an MMPI-2 study on 122 institutionalized psychiatric patients with a mean age of 37 years are described. Clinical psychologists and psychiatrists are encouraged to take this scale differential sensitivity into account when using the MMPI-2 as a diagnostic tool.

Saccadic tracking test - normal data and reliability

Article Abstract:

Administration of the saccadic tracking test to 102 healthy control subjects indicates that gender, age and education affect test performance. The test requires basic information processing. The scanpath is mediated by sequence of arrows from a marked beginning point to one number within a circle of numbers in the named periphery. The test evaluates visuospatial skills.

Multivariate discrimination function analysis of neurologic, pain, and psychiatric patients with the MMPI

Article Abstract:

A study of the efficacy of the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) in differentiating five patient groups shows that statistical analysis of the MMPI is potentially suitable in diagnosis and decision making. The Cripe Neurologic Symptom test does better than basic tests at diagnosing and differentiating the various patient groups.
