Emotional expression in cyberspace: searching for moderators of the Pennebaker disclosure via E-mail

Article Abstract:

The random testing of 546 participants was done to analyze the efficacy of an e-mail based written treatment. The results showed that the e-mail based written treatment were effective in producing positive health outcomes and successfully identified several moderators of the writing treatment effect.

The role of familism in stress and coping processes among African American and White dementia caregivers: effects on mental and physical health

Article Abstract:

There is no significant relationship between familism and ethnicity as well as familism and active coping. A direct effect of ethnicity on mental health is also not found in this study. Higher levels of burden however, is related to more avoidant coping.
