Evidence-based solutions for overcoming access barriers, decreasing attrition, and promoting change with undeserved families

Article Abstract:

Any interventions that targets family interactions and conceptualize problems as existing beyond individual clients are considered by family therapy to encompass the same. Given the dramatic changes in family composition and structure, there is an increasing need for programs that are effective in reaching all types of families.

Relationships among sexual satisfaction, marital quality, and marital instability at midlife

Article Abstract:

Autoregressive models were used to examine the casual sequences among sexual satisfaction, marital quality, and marital instability for husbands and wives, separately. Initially, higher levels of sexual satisfaction resulted in an increase in marital quality, which in turn, led to a decrease in marital instability over time.

The effects of context on the correspondence between observational ratings and questionnaire reports of hostile behavior: a multitrait, multimethod approach

Article Abstract:

The multitrait, multimethod matrix estimates correlation between observer ratings and questionnaire reports of hostile behavior. There is stronger correlation between behavioral categories and questionnaire items.
