Group cognitive-behavior therapy for bulimia nervosa: statistical versus clinical significance of changes in symptoms across treatment

Article Abstract:

The effects of group cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) treatment for expanded to address interpersonal relationships and communicating feelings, were investigated. Results demonstrated that group CBT is broadly effective when treating bulimia nervosa, although it does not work in all cases and may even lead to enhancement of restrictive characteristics in some cases.

PANDAS Anorexia Nervosa - endangered, extinct or nonexistent?

Article Abstract:

A study to review the concept of pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorders associated with streptoccoccal infection Anorexia Nervosa (PANDAS-AN) is conducted. Results indicate a wide range of methodologiical problems and suggest the need for more clearly defined diagnostic criteria.
