Impulsivity and schemas for a hostile world: Postdictors of violent behavior

Article Abstract:

As study on male prisoners was carried out to see the effect of impulsivity and effect of two measures of schemas of hostile world by evaluating the questionnaire given to them. The result provides support for the Sein and Kuriychuk model of aggression that links impulsivity and hostile attributes is persistent male violence.

Collateral gains from the military? A cross-national analysis of the armed forces-crime relationship

Article Abstract:

The relationship between the armed forces and violent-crime rates in a cross-national context despite of the variety of predicators that are present is discussed. Results point out that the size of the military and the presence of conscription have an important relationship to homicide rates.

A comparison of the male customers of female street prostitutes with national samples of men

Article Abstract:

A large sample of men arrested for trying to hire street prostitutes with nationally representative samples of men are analyzed. Most of the differences were small, indicating customers as a category differ from the other men in degree rather than quality.
