Judicial uses of forced psychotropic medication

Article Abstract:

The practice of involuntarily medicating defendants and prisoners for the judicial purposes of trial or punishment, which raises several ethical concerns, is discussed with reference to two U.S. court trial decisions. It is concluded that modern era's psychotropic medication requires the closest scrutiny when employed for judicial or other extratherapeutic purpose, irrespective of the benefits they bring when provided to willing patients in a therapeutic setting.

Sexual arousal: Its physiological roles in human reproduction

Article Abstract:

A study that examines the physiological roles of human sexual arousal in the mechanisms of reproduction in males and especially females is presented. Genital reflexes generated by coitus in both males and females help maintain genital functionality in relation to muscle function and genital circulations and regular coitus appears to influence early ovulation and to make the cycles more often of the fertile type.
