Neuropsychological function in borderline personality disorder

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted to determine the effect of organic factors in borderline personality disorders (BPD). Neurological functions of a sample group of borderline patients were assessed and compared to a control group. The BPD group exhibited a pattern of impairments that indicates a fronto-temporal locus. This result suggests that some deficits in BPD may be organically based.

Rorschach assessment of the borderline child

Article Abstract:

Analysis of the data on children with borderline personality disorder according to the Rorschach autisms is considered along with current theoretical hypotheses of adult borderline psychopathology and examination of the association between child and adult borderline disorders. A case study of a sexually abused child is used as an illustration.

Chance performance in the absence of norms for neuropsychological tests- a clinical note

Article Abstract:

There is a shortage of normative data for interpretation of neuropsychological tests. Given the tests' small N-size and the absence of norms, chance baselines provide a workable solution for normative data regarding neuropsychological tests.
