On typographical errors

Article Abstract:

In the 'Psychopathology of Everyday Life' Freud wrote briefly about typographical errors, but he did not include this subject in his later writings. Recent findings in cognitive psychology have decreased emphasis on the connection between slips and the unconscious, but examples from a sample of 100, mostly from scientific books and journals, suggest that lapses in compulsivity lead to slips. The discovery of typographical errors during editing is hindered by thematic compliance and voyeuristic issues.

Peter Shaffer's 'Amadeus' as a further expression of twinship conflict

Article Abstract:

Peter Shaffer's 'Amadeus,' has much in common with Shaffer's earlier plays 'Equus' and 'The Royal Hunt of the Sun.' All these plays have their genetic roots in the sibling rivalry of twinship. However, in 'Amadeus' the effect of envy and vengeance on human behavior is much more pronounced. Peter's relationship with his twin brother was a major motivational factor behind the writing of 'Amadeus.'

Structuralist versus poststructuralist perspectives on Session Five of the Analysis of C

Article Abstract:

The justification of using structuralist perspectives on psychoanalytic practice was supported by Kenneth Winarick and he explained the set of character structures identifying compromise formations which are occasionally presented in clinical data. According to Douglas H. Ingram in poststructuralist conception unconscious is indispensable for psychoanalytic thinking.
