Personality attributes of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) using the Rorschach Inkblot Test

Article Abstract:

Examination of the Rorschach Inkblot Test responses observed in a group of children with Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) with respect t o a matched sample of clinical and normal controls show significantly restricted coping capabilities, problems with self- and interpersonal perceptions and susceptibility to depression in the control and ADHD groups. The ADHD subjects displayed considerably more strong feelings of alienation and discomfort, more dependence, and low social participation while the clinical group had higher degree of psychological and thinking disorder.

Concurrent validity of the MCM-II modifier indices

Article Abstract:

A study of the association among the Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory-II (MCM-II) and clinical scales of the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2 (MMPI-2) vindicates the use of the three MCM-II Modifier Indices as measures of response style. But functioning in this connection appear to be less distinct than it was originally intended. The results suggest that these scales especially the Desirability Index, supply clinically helpful information along with their ability to find response styles.
