Preventing filicide in families with autistic children

Article Abstract:

This article examines risk factors of filicide in families with autistic children and discusses prevention strategies. The author, maintaining filicide rates have risen among families with developmentally disabled children, argues family physicians and other heathcare providers should be diligent in the diagnosis of parental stress and provide social and psychological support.

A classification of sexual homicide against men

Article Abstract:

Ten cases of sexual murderers of adult male victims that lead to the identification of important differences between the type of sexual murders and sexual murderers of adult female victims are presented. The three distinctive types namely the avenger, the sexual predator and the nonsexual predator are given.
