Optimally matching support and perceived spousal sensitivity

Article Abstract:

The correlation of spousal sensitivity and responsiveness to the matching support received when an emotion is expressed during support interactions is examined. The results show that partner sensitivity correlates to marital satisfaction and only mismatched support towards emotional disclosure is associated with marital satisfaction and low partner sensitivity.
