Reliability of observer ratings in the assessment of personality disorders: a preliminary study

Article Abstract:

Usage of the Coolidge Axis II Inventory (CAII), a self-report personality disorder inventory, along with a modified version of the same scale on 52 married subjects, their spouses and close friends proved beneficial in efficiently analyzing depression, anxiety and cognitive impairment levels in the subjects. Correlations between the perceptions of spouses and friends were found to match in judging the personality traits of the targeted subject.

Prediction of adolescent aggression by childhood personality measures: a comparison of projective procedures, self-report tests, and behavior ratings

Article Abstract:

A study to find the best assessment type for predicting aggressive behavior in adolescents shows that projective procedures for children are as effective as the behavioral procedures and possibly more effective than self-report measures. The follow-up study compares projective techniques, self reports, and aggression behavior ratings by teachers six years after the administration of samples. The samples include adolescents in grades 7-12.
