The psychological consequences of weight gain prevention in healthy, premenopausal women

Article Abstract:

A behavioral lifestyle intervention encouraging weight loss was administered on normal weight premenopausal women to examine the potential psychological consequence of encouraging weight loss in normal weight women. Results have shown that the subjects there was a decrease in depressive symptoms in women subjected to the behavioral intervention and that there were no adverse psychological effects such as binge eating behaviors following such behavioral lifestyle intervention.

Sexual behavior in young adulthood: a population-based twin study

Article Abstract:

Shared genes have a big role in the variation in the start of sexual experience in both men and women. This finding is supported by data from research on young adult twins from Finland.
