Article Abstract:

The collateral damage was usually high when Americans fight in this war, 'friendly fire' accounted for a disturbingly high degree of causalities among journalist as well as soldiers where the US friendly fire killed the translator travelling with a BBC correspondent and his colleagues. The weapons of war have become far more powerful then the men and women who use them are just ordinary human beings, who are only as good as their training and service condition can make them.

From the inside: Baghdad's Abu Ghraib

Article Abstract:

The reporters for the US daily Newsday, based in Long Island, New York, disappeared in Baghdad, they were held for eight days in Iraq's Abu Grab prison along with American freelance photographer, they took all the equipment and were in solitary confinement and were not tortured or beaten but only interrogated at a psychological level, the abuse. There was lot of international pressure to release them, as per the higher authorities of the government.

The final shot

Article Abstract:

An account of Mazen Dana, a cameraman by profession who was wounded several times while filming live coverage is presented. He won awards for his coverage of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict however he was killed by an American soldier when he was on assignment in Iraq.
