Communication party: The 1996 Mead Annual Report Conference

Article Abstract:

The 1996 Mead Annual Report Conference went beyond its traditional role in recognizing and advancing excellence in annual report design to discuss larger forward-looking issues concerning business and design. Chair Lana Rigsby conveyed the sense that graphic designers will increasingly help in advancing corporate performance. The conference was a gathering of such eminent designers as Bob Vogele, Robert Miles Runyan, Peter Harrison, and Jim Cross, and also proved to be a generous and optimistic party for the industry as a whole.
