China is developed into a large publishing country and has seen tremendous growth in copyrights trade especially in the import of books. Joint publishing and profit sharing is a transitional mode in the case of closer ties between Chinese and foreign publishers and this is the newest development in cooperation between Chinese and foreign publishers.
