There are many educational and professional opportunities for graphic designers in Holland. For example, Holland has 13 academies having departments specializing in graphics design. Individuals interested in graphics design are supported with scholarships and options for second-chance education. In addition, professional and governmental support continues for the 200 or so students who graduate each year. For example, Holland offers stipends for special projects and travel expenses.

Type Directors Club 1992 awards

Article Abstract:

The 1992 Type Directors Club awards for typographic excellence are presented. Out of about 2,700 entries 192 were selected as winners. The awards were presented in the following categories: editorial, posters, books, brochures, annual reports, and catalogs. Photographs of the winners and names of the designers, agencies, creative directors and other pertinent production information are included.
