Richards Group: ads via design

Article Abstract:

The Richards Group in Dallas, TX, began as a design firm and made a successful switch to an advertising agency in 1976. In 1995, the Richards Group was worth $300 million and had 300 employees. Stan Richards, head of the Richards Group, attributes the success of his company to both its organization into seven creative groups with fourteen creative group heads, and to dedicated, young employees.

Bernard Khoury: "fighting amnesia in postwar Beirut"

Bernard Khoury, a Beirut-born architect plans in his head and in conversation at the site of the envisioned project rather than in drawings. 'B 018' one of the hippest and most successful discotheques in Beirut is counted among his popular works that is situated at a site that was witness to one of the most atrocious massacres of the Lebanese Civil War.
