The red jacket: UTB as a model for cooperative textbook publishing

Article Abstract:

University Text-book (UTB) is a unique model of cooperation where members share the advantages of a bigger entity without renouncing essential elements of publishing, things such as the choice about what and how to publish and taking the chances and risks of projects individually. This may serve as a model for cooperation on a local, national or regional scale or simply give a few ideas on joint textbook marketing.
