Atlantic Canada

Article Abstract:

The East Coast of Canada is fast becoming the target for new businesses as its low cost of living and high quality of life attract investors. With tax incentives and an educated bilingual labor force, New Brunswick manages to lure even international business concerns. Meanwhile, Nova Scotia hinges its economic growth on its shift toward high technology, telecommunications and tourism. On the other hand, oil field development in Newfoundland and Labrador and the Prince Edward Island-New Brunswick bridge that is being constructed are primary economic attractions in the area.
