Changes to code keep it vital

Article Abstract:

The National Association of Realtors publishes a Code of Ethics to encourage high standards among real estate practitioners. In 2000 some changes were made to the Code to enhance the resolution of disputes, increase protection for users of the Code and reduce the risk of liability.

Megan's Law: new risks

Issues concerning the notification of homeowners of the registration of convicted sex offenders are discussed. The National Association of Realtors is seeking to clarify the legal responsibility of realtors to disclose such information.
