1998 facility expansion forecast: 10 percent global growth

Article Abstract:

The outlook of facility expansion in 1998 appears bright, as analysts foresee a 10% percent global growth. According to projections released in the Site Selection facilities index, a total of 11,628 new facilities would be added to the business sector, despite the currency crisis in Asia. They further claim that much of the growth would be concentrated in Europe, Latin America and North America, where business activities are likely to increase.
