Law of diminishing returns?

Article Abstract:

The management of property litigation in the UK will change under Civil Procedure Rules 55 and 56, which come into effect in Oct 2001. Some difficulties could arise from these changes, including the fact that the new business lease renewal procedure does not seem appropriate to deal with opposed lease renewals.

Article Abstract:

Issues concerning service charge disputes between landlords and tenants are discussed. The Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 now presents a statutory code which landlords must use in order to obtain service charges from residential leaseholders.
