Article Abstract:

The corporate real estate (CRE) profession must do three things efficiently for it to be a strategic support to the corporation. First, CRE's vision must match the core business's outlook for the future. Second, CRE should provide solutions to strategic issues that face higher management. Third, the profession should be able to acquire the right balance of broad financial skills, innovative system-based solutions and human resources. For CRE to achieve its goals, it must draw from resources near and far.

According to the reader research conducted by the staff of Site Selection it was found that 35.7 per cent of readers turn to Site Selection for the insights into the industry dynamics. The survey results reveal that the corporate real estate managers and executive use the magazine as a guide to execute their job responsibilities better.
