Poly-Foam International: hitched to mobile homes

Article Abstract:

Poly-Foam International's Sandusky County, OH, facility has been the company's growth base into various business ventures. The company started manufacturing fiberglass steps for mobile homes and has currently diversified into making products for the automotive, mobile home, and pre-fabricated housing industries. Poly-Foam's attraction to the area is the existence of various technical institutions that provide support in improving the company's products' durability, color constancy and chemistry.

Vial bodies: conflicting interests in the move to new institutional relationships in biological medicines research and regulation

Article Abstract:

Issues concerning the control and regulation of biological medicines are discussed, with particular reference to the relationship between industry, government and academia. Potential conflicts of interest are examined and some possible policy options are considered.
