Putting the brakes on

Article Abstract:

Some observers suggest office occupiers are unlikely to move from business parks and back into city centres. They are calling for clearer information from the UK government, which plans to restrict out of town development. The government also plans to place parking restrictions on business parks which may impact plans to expand in the future. Some observers suggest mixed use schemes, near business parks, may become more popular. Over 45 million sq ft of office space was built on business parks during 1984-1999. Some industry experts point out firms may choose to move abroad.
