State of the nation's housing: the good times aren't hitting everybody

Article Abstract:

The 1999 State of the Nation's Housing report revealed that although the housing market made good profits for the year, many among the minorities and low-income households do not have their own homes. Many African Americans and Hispanics have yet to get a college education to get good jobs.
