Taking stock of CEO compensation: do stock options really boost hospitality performance?

Article Abstract:

The issue of relating the compensation of chief executive officers to their companies stock performance in the hospitality industry is examined. The analysis is conducted in response to an article in March 10 Money section of USA Today, which stated that providing stock options failed to increase stock price of company by improved performance.

Cost effective responses to ADA accessibility claims and lawsuits

Article Abstract:

Appropriate handling of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) claims provides cost effective solutions both for the authorities and property and business owners . It is suggested that, before filing a lawsuit, business owners should have the knowledge of accurate responses to their ADA claims.

Leasing or subleasing?

Article Abstract:

The advantages of sublease from tenants over a direct lease from the property owner are discussed. But, sublease has its own share of limitations in connection with the number of subtenants, the permitted use by the subtenant, and the length of the sublease.
