The goose that laid the golden ad

The advertising agency called goose is a pioneer in the use of the feminist perspective in advertising. Goose incorporates the male and female perspective in its ads, which runs against the typical commercial wherein the ad is addressed toward the gender that would use a product or service.

Issues are discussed concerning North Philadelphia preacher Jesse Brown and his suit against the tobacco companies for using black models to promote menthol cigarettes. The appeal of these adverts to the poor African-American communities is described.
