The electronic office

Article Abstract:

The factors leading to the successful contribution of electronic office systems to organizational performance are evaluated. User companies are observed and results are analyzed to come up with determinants to successful adoption of electronic office systems. Three success factors are suggested: one, an employer opportunity perception of an autonomous and wide-range use of the system by the employees; two, recognition of employee innovations and knowledge contributions to the organization on the use of the system; and third, introduction of the system as a major relief to an employee's work.

Photographs taken between 1939 and 1946 at a portrait studio in Heber Springs, AR reveal the nature of the town through its people. The portraits were taken by photographer calling himself Mike Disfarmer and sold for 50 cents each.
