Artists' use of three-dimensional computer modelling applications is discussed. The sophistication of three-dimensional imaging applications, particularly when combined in a designer's toolkit, is highlighted, and the strengths of individual modelling tools explained. The ability of three-dimensional software to accurately describe the real world provides artists with opportunities for creative representation limited only by their imagination.
