Views from Turkey: Reasons for the United States war against Iraq

Article Abstract:

To understand Turkish views towards the U.S. war against Iraq, it is necessary to consider the views of three important segments of Turkey's society, the government, the military and the public who have different views. The latest source of tension between the two countries seems to be the Turkish government and the public's unhappiness with the consequences of the U.S. against Iraq and its occupation of the country.
