Dial the White House for hard porn

Article Abstract:

Stealth web sites make use of famous addresses to attract people into parts of the internet they did not intend to visit. These sites use the well-known addresses with a different suffix or a commonly-made spelling mistake, and are in fact hard-core porn pages. In many cases, they are simply banner farms, offering links to actual porn sites. There are now at least two bills under consideration designed to regulate stealth web sites.

Introducing The Independent online

Article Abstract:

The website launched by Independent Digital, a unit of Independent News and Media, in Oct 1999 is deliberately different from a newspaper. It is constantly updated and is organized into a series of channels. Navigation is made simple by the use of the latest dynamic hypertext mark-up language. The website contains material from the Independent titles which has been redefined but retains its character, essence and values.
