A paradise of premieres, powder and poseurs

Article Abstract:

It is particularly worth visiting the ski resort of Park City, UT, during late Jan, as this is when Robert Redford's annual Sundance Film Festival takes place. The 14th annual Sundance Festival, which will be held between 15 and 25 Jan, 1998, will involve the screening of 67 short films and 103 feature films. The festival has become a key event in the US film industry year, attracting many agents, buyers, filmmakers, actors and film company executives. The resort becomes very crowded, but this does not mean that it is not possible to enjoy a skiing holiday there at this time of year.

Guess what we're having for dinner

Article Abstract:

The state of Maine is particularly well-known for its lobsters. It has many roadside lobster shacks where diners can select their own lobster before it is cooked. These establishments are very simple, but offer an appetising meal for only around $10. Most visitors to Maine focus on its rocky coastline, visiting its many traditional New England fishing towns. It is also worth visiting Mount Desert Island, which is connected to the mainland by a short bridge.

Going the full monty ... again

Article Abstract:

The 1998 Sundance Film Festival gave a high profile to British film-makers, featuring 10 British films and six shorts. Of the 16 films premiered at the event, four were British or British-European. The many journalists, agents and Hollywood buyers who attend the festival are very keen to spot films that have the potential to be extremely successful. However, several films purchased in bidding battles in 1997 later lost substantial sums of money.
