A tourist's peace of mind is an insurer's piece of cake

Article Abstract:

Holidaymakers are usually perfectly happy to take out insurance for their holidays especially as an emergency flight home and associated bills could exceed 100,000 pounds sterling. However travel agents, operators and banks typically make 40% to 50% profit from arranging policies and many underwriters are losing money on this business. Many agents rely very much on their profit from travel insurance arrangement with low profit margins on holidays and flights.

European recipes are alien to the British mind

Article Abstract:

Architect Richard Rogers showed a strong humanist element in the visions of the future of the UK's cities which he presented in the Reith lectures. He shows a European approach in his assumptions that architecture should be government-sponsored, and supports views which are widely accepted in all other European countries. However, it will not be possible to use European solutions in the UK, where social conditions are very different.
