After five years, Blair is careworn, frustrated - and 'just getting started.'

Article Abstract:

There has been speculation that UK Prime Minister Tony Blair will resign two years after the next general election. His aides have dismissed this idea, emphasizing that he remains extremely ambitious. Some observers believe that rumours of plans to resign are being circulated by supporters of Chancellor Gordon Brown, who is known to greatly desire to succeed Blair. It is possible that Blair's reluctance to resign stems from his realization that it will take a very long time to modernize the UK.
