US President George W. Bush has steadily improved his performance since his initial reactions to the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon. He gave a particularly good speech to a joint session of Congress, losing his previous shallowness and emphasizing his commitment to eradicating terrorism.
