Anger at treatment by postcode for infertility

Article Abstract:

The overwhelming majority of infertility specialists believe that couples are treated on social rather than clinical grounds in the National Health Service. Patients now have to pay for some if not all of their costs of treatment. Consultants in the NHS also expected to spend less on fertility drugs this year compared to last. The findings were the result of surveys conducted by the National Infertility Awareness Campaign.

Infertility rites, Harley Street wrongs

Article Abstract:

A personal account of attempts to gain medical help for infertility when experts made errors and were unsympathetic. A chronic bacterial infection of the prostate gland which interfered with sperm production went undiagnosed for three years due to poor case management and inadequate medical histories. Personal research encouraged persistence in seeking aid from further experts with eventual success, although at great expense.

Republican wrongs don't make Bill Clinton right

Article Abstract:

It is wrong to criticize President Bill Clinton for what he does in his personal life. However, concerns must be raised about how he has handled power, especially as he appears to have physically abused at least two women. He is clearly totally ruthless, but this has not prevented him gaining strong support among ordinary Americans. He has lied to protect himself, and for this reason should not be treated sympathetically.
