Article Abstract:

British fashion design has become extremely popular in New York, NY. British designers are admired for their creativity, and their designs are now also proving very commercial. Stores are keen to stock British fashion design in order to portray themselves as cutting-edge retailers. The strength of the pound makes British exports to the US expensive, but sales are strong. British fashion design is no longer simply a source of inspiration for designers from other countries, but has become a growing business in its own right.

Article Abstract:

There is now a more positive market for designer clothing in the UK, according to Calvin Klein Inc. President and Chief Operating Officer Gabriella Forte. The company has recently opened a three-floor store in London, England, and expects to attract a lot of interest from British consumers who are already familiar with the Calvin Klein brand. Forte works extremely hard, spending the equivalent of one week each month flying between the US, Europe and Asia. She is very focused, and has a very sharp eye for detail.

All the raj

Article Abstract:

Indian fashions have become increasingly popular among the rich in the United Kingdom. Ritu Kenar's retail chain is one force that is popularising India fashion. Her European customers tend to seek traditional Indian clothers, while her India customers seek more modern clothes. Dressing in Indian clothes used to be used as a sign of spiritual enlightenment in the 1960s, but this is not the case in the 1990s. Henna tatoos have also become popular in the UK.
