Art at the seaside

Article Abstract:

The town council in Bridlington, England, has been able to commission modern art and design as part of the redevelopment of the South Promenade. Architectural practice Bauman Lyons included a number of discrete buildings within the overall site, and the development also has a series of 30 beach huts. A text by Mel Gooding runs along the front edge of the promenade, and there are a number of installations by Bruce McLean and an area of pavement by Chris Tipping.
