BT hints at more deals using Syntegra

Article Abstract:

Following the announcement of its alliance with US based telecommunications group, AT&T, British Telecom (BT) has announced that it is in the process of lining up other deals in the US and in Continental Europe. The deal formed with AT&T does not prevent BT from entering into any expansion in the US, so long as it does not compete with the operations of the joint venture. One of its operations that is likely to be expanded is Syntegra, its systems integration arm, as it has a strong market presence and is used to dealing with banks.
