Betrayed, beaten and burnt by the hated 'collaborators.'

Article Abstract:

Alice Jarjoura claims that she was tortured by the South Lebanon Army (SLA) in an abandoned Israeli barracks in Lebanon. She is a Christian and agrees that one allegation, of working for the intelligence section of the Lebanese army, was true, but she denies allegations that she was involved in bombing. Her torturers claim that she planted bombs on a highway. She was detained for nearly six months and was then released. She sees Lebanese collaborators, not Israeli occupiers as to blame.

Israel's victims buried to wails of rage

Article Abstract:

The burial has recently taken place of many of the victims of the Israeli shelling of the UN headquarters building in Qana, Lebanon. This tragedy will have a great impact on southern Lebanon for many years to come, and the site is likely to become a place of pilgrimage. Local people are not supporters of Hizbollah, but attribute most blame for the massacre to Israel, and many anti-Israeli slogans were shouted as the burials took place.

Simple peace equation that doesn't add up

Article Abstract:

It is vital that new Israeli prime minister Bibi Netanyahu withdraws Israeli troops from Lebanon with no conditions if he is to improve his image, according to Rafiq Hariri, Lebanon's prime minister. If this happens, then Lebanon will be able to guarantee security in the south. The US will also play a vital role in the peace process, and Lebanon would like to see it acting as an honest broker.
