Better than sex: the joys of litigation

Article Abstract:

A belief in justice is generally a positive thing, but in some people can be taken to damaging extremes. The British legal system allows anyone to bring a dispute to court, but this has the negative effect of encouraging a few people to become compulsive or serial litigants. Some serial litigants are quite successful in the cases they bring, but it is more common for initial success to be followed by significant losses. Experts believe that many people have been influenced by films and novels which encourage them to see the law courts as a magical place where natural justice will eventually be done.

Getting to grips with indolence

Article Abstract:

Italy's Lake Como has for many years attracted visitors who are seeking peace and relaxation. It is easily accessible, being situated only around an hour by car from Milan, but this has unfortunately meant that traffic levels in the area have increased considerably over recent years. The best destination on the lake is Bellagio, which is not on a direct route to any other location.
