Beyond the rising of the sun

Article Abstract:

The city of Pamplona, Spain, offers many attractions for visitors. The 16th-century Citadel overlooks one of the wide avenues which cut across the city, while the Navarre Museum gives visitors an insight into the long history of Pamplona and the surrounding area. The centre of the city is the Plaza del Castilo, where there are many cafes. Pamplona was brought to international attention through Ernest Hemingway's novel 'Fiesta: The Sun Also Rises,' but the city is by no means a shrine to Hemingway.

48 hours in the life of Cologne

Article Abstract:

There is a range of tourist accommodation in Cologne, Germany, the largest city on the Rhine. The city has a long riverfront, where many people like to stroll, but also has narrow streets where there is much of architectural interest. The old town has many cafes, and the city also has a range of museums. There are several interesting churches, as well as a medieval cathedral. It is also worth taking a boat trip down the Rhine to gain an unusual perspective on the city and its surroundings.

Looking for a New England

Article Abstract:

The town of Manchester, VT, is close to the ski areas of Stratton, Bromley and Sun Mountain. These resorts offer excellent facilities for beginners, and are quiet during the week. Manchester also has the advantage of not really being a ski resort. It has all the attractions and facilities associated with an ordinary town, and is therefore very attractive to people who do not wish to just ski. It is particularly attractive for its outlet stores.
