Brilliant but flawed

Article Abstract:

The Spitfire aircraft has a very special place in the cultural history of the UK in the 20th century. It represents a high point of British design, engineering and manufacturing, and was also a clear reflection of the innovative and flexible approach which forms a key element of the national character. The British nation is undoubtedly flawed, just as the Spitfire was not really suitable for mass production at a time of war, but has a great independence of spirit which is summed up in the beauty of the Spitfire.

0 to 90

Article Abstract:

The Rolls-Royce, which was first produced in 1906, is still widely regarded as the best car in the world. It is strongly associated with significant life events, such as weddings, and adds a sense of style to any occasion. Anyone considering purchasing a Rolls-Royce would be well advised to avoid those which appear to be relatively cheap, as they can often prove very expensive to run.
