Article Abstract:

Cllint Eastwood, 62, has been nominated for nine Academy Awards for 'Unforgiven,' a brutal Western. He has not received an Oscar before although he has directed 16 films. He first came to fame in the television serial 'Rawhide,' which was family entertainment, but many of his films portray violence. Eastwood played a random shooter in 'A Fistful of Dollars.' The 'Dirty Harry' films upset people because of their realistic brutality. In 'Unforgiven' he plays reformed alcoholic and murderer Munny, who kills the whole town.
