Flaming Hoon! Does anyone know what the voters want?

Article Abstract:

Most Britons know who the country's politicians are and what they want. In contrast, there is considerable confusion about who the electorate is and what the electorate wants. Conservative party leader William Hague appears to be making the mistake of confusing his views and obsessions with those of voters. There is actually no hard evidence to prove that voters share the Conservative party's views and obsessions. It seems that voters are relatively satisfied with the government, and it is unlikely that the Labour party will not win the next general election.

My country needs me - and the cause is worth fighting for

Article Abstract:

Westerners are generally in favour of Nato military action to protect the ethnic Albanians in Kosovo, Yugoslavia. However, they are unwilling to extend their commitment to the ethnic Albanians to the use of ground troops. It is wrong to claim that those who support stronger Nato military action in Kosovo are glorifying war. Indeed, it can be argued that the opposite is the case. It is now time for ordinary people to accept that they should be willing to make some personal sacrifices in order to eliminate genocide and mass human suffering.
