For you, my friend, the war isn't over

Article Abstract:

Media mogul Ted Turner is extremely concerned to ensure that future generations are not unaware of the Cold War. For this reason, he persuaded Jeremy Isaacs, who has been responsible for some of the best documentary series on British television, to produce a documentary series on the Cold War. Jeremy Isaacs Productions is now close to completing a 24 hours series which will be broadcast in the UK by the BBC in autumn 1998. Considerable attention was given to ensuring that this was a truly global production.
