Take a good look in the Miramax, boys

Article Abstract:

US independent film company Miramax has always emphasized its firm commitment to high quality cinema, avoiding cheap commercialism. It has been very successful in attracting mainstream audiences for foreign language and art-house films. However, it is finding it increasingly difficult to reconcile art and commerce. Some observers believe that Miramax is diluting its brand as it diversifies.
